My Story
Hello to fellow pilots and fans of aviation! My name is Dr. Ben Donald. I’m an optometrist, certificated flight instructor and enthusiastic pilot who loves to share my passion for flying! I took my first discovery flight over Panola County at age 18 and have been thinking about being in the air ever since. I have been flying out of Panola County Sharpe Field (4F2) since 2011.
I achieved excellent ratings on all flight examinations and earned my Private Pilot License, Instrument Rating, Commercial Rating, and Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) License for Airplane, Single Engine, Land (ASEL).
It is my pleasure to share the thrill of aviation with others! I am available for new student pilot instruction, discovery flights and flight reviews, departing out of Panola County Airport, 4F2, Hangar 16.
