My son is very interested in being a pilot so we went down to our local private airport and by chance met Ben. Ben explained that he was a seasoned pilot and would not mind taking us up for a “discovery flight” with my son. Ben was very informative and showed my son a lot of different things while we were in the air. He is a great teacher and anyone interested in flying should take time to give Ben a call. Thanks Ben it was a great experience.

Ben Donald took me up on a Discovery Flight. It was not only informative, it was amazing to see Panola County from the air. Dr. Donald explained the instrumentation, the science of aviation, and how to take off/land. He also explained the parts of the aircraft and is a very confident pilot. He also is sensitive to things that might take a little getting used to, 30 degree turns in my case. I would highly recommend ETA for anyone interested in flying or who might want to explore being a pilot. An aerial view of Carthage with a knowledgeable guide is pretty darn cool too.
